Intresting but still milking the dying cow instead of letting the calf feed. Its been almost 3 years since Valve released something new. They cant live on CS and TF2 forever..

Been looking at some vids of it and it looks a bit bad, i'm not a fan of the achievements and weapon stats because it's a bit pointless and i have l4d/l4d2/battlefield for that. The whole online avatar next to ur name is a bit much and the new tab screen blocks ur entire view. That said, the new engine may bring some improvements and i'm guessing the use of a config will get rid of the annoying pop ups and such so it might be a decent idea.

I'd of loved to played the beta before they rolled it out properly just to get a feel for it but limited slots is pretty harsh. Guess we just have to wait on a release date now and find out

if they're updating the source engine does that mean the whole aiming thing will change?

Im clueless about this, but if its gonna change the whole feel for the game alot of people will be pissed off

they reopened the beta so more slots were available - dunno if they still are though i managed to download it. might have a shot tomorrow at some point if i have time

well it can have its pros en cons... so we'll have to w8 and see, but it sounds interesting
