Someone placed netherracks near my castle and lit it on fire, almost started a forrest fire if I hadnt seen it.

This makes me wonder, can builders spawn fire with /item? Or are they allowed to use flint & tinder nowdays?

I think I know who did it but cant remember his/her name atm. Tunes could you check the logs when you have the time?

If you removed the blocks, gets harder to find the culprit, I'll take a look and see what I can find.

I'll remember that until next time. But had to remove them plus 2-3 trees to prevent a forrest fire.

i think his name was ango2000 or something..cause he was in my area when i loged.

Next time use the //ex command

Well, the spawn was all on fire, caused by a guest who found fire in a chest, all solved, and of course, I did ban him.

ango2000 was with him at the same time in the server, as I cannot give reasons for a ban, he will take a warning.



Hforbes69 is permanently banned of the server.

I had problems with hackzilla today. First he started building near us without asking so we asked him to stop. Then we found out he stole my friends diamond axe and replaced it with a golden apple. When we asked him about it he just said he had to go and eat and loged asap..didnt even aknowledge our question.

I have banned him as I do with all who I find stealing others stuff, especially with that attitude.

Yes, builders can spawn absolutely anything.. /item fire 64 is 64 blocks of fire..

it would be bad to restrict fire though because I use it a lot in my houses and such for fireplaces and other things.

I won't be blocking fire blocks, as I can remove them quite easily and they don't cause real damage.

Lava and water are far more dangerous and had sometimes to recover from backups due to the extent of the damage making other people loose work, however I won't be blocking them too, as most use it for the buildings.

One thing that pissed me off was the sand pyramid near spawn getting griefed, and it was impossible to recover due to the nature of sand which I don't block too.

Directly edited blocks are repairable by bigbrother, since they are not sand...
