Vanilla 1.9 server available @ 78.46.53.135

Join in, new mobs and new nether stuff, not much atm I ca write about, the server is up, sooo, give it a spin!

Its not official, so its also a vanilla server with no mods at all, and it hogs the server down like hell... crappy java coding notch and jeb are doing.. oh well.

In case you guys just go to switch the version, is really simple, just go to the folder .minecraft in your profile (you must be able to see hidden files and folders), rename (don't delete) the current minecraft.jar and copy the 1.9 jar there, start the launcher and login to the test server.

10 minutes playing and found an village with npc... monks

There will also be a 1.10 update coming soon too, which will include even more stuff

And for those who don't already know, you can craft Snow Golems with a Pumpkin above 2 blocks of snow, which will throw snowballs at hostile mobs (they do no damage, but draw attention away from you)

EDIT: They also melt in hot biomes

EDIT: I have also noticed 4 new items. A Blaze Rod, Ghast Tear, A yellow thing that doesn't have a tooltip, and a Nether Wart. There's also lilly pads in the swamp biome. Also, the Snow Golems aren't crafted, they are built

Awesome, will there be a pre-release to every version

preobably makes it more easy for modders to have these pre releases
