Yesterday I had a similar experiance to Che ken. But thanks to his posting earlier this didnt happen:

I quickly built a block so I wouldnt fall thru..but the blue nothingness looked intresting. Maybe one day I will jump down that rabbit hole

I wanted to go into the slip world in style so I built a 50x50 square large pyramid and built the portal inside with a large stair leading up to it. Now to explore the Slip..

I just built the damn thing in the front yard and died a few minutes after, the ghasts drop bombs like the is no tomorrow, geeez

Managed to get my stuff anyway, but curious is the out points of the portals, my luck is having lots of constructions in the map, otherwise, always take your compass to find the way home.
